Personal Description:

Renshi Anthony Pillage founded The Way of the Spiritual Warrior Martial Arts Academy over 4 years ago in Coventrywhich is now one of the largest schools in the Midlands. He has Dan grades in Sho-Go-Ryu Karate Do, Full Contact Kick Boxing, Open Circle Fighting Method and is a registered and qualified Instructor with the British Combat Association under Peter Consterdine (8th Dan) and Geoff Thompson (6th Dan) . In April he won the title of Martial arts Club Coach of the Year sponsored by NAP. He is currently studying under the personal supervision of Steve Rowe of Shikon (7th Dan), Mick coup of C2 Combatives and Hanshi Joe Carslake 9th dan. He has run the workshops and Seminars at Europe's largest Martial Arts Show SENI attracting some of the worlds leading MA superstars including UFC Champion Chuck Liddell and Head of the Dragon Society - Grandmaster Tom Muncy as well as the cream of British martial Arts talent including Dennis Jones (Samurai on the Door), Barefoot Zen author Nathan Johnson, Shihan Anthony Bailey ,Combat Ju-Jitsu expert Trevor Roberts and noted self protection guru Mo Teague Currently he holds an NVQ in Activity Leadership and is about to start a martial arts NVQ under Martin Gatter (6th Dan) of Classic Coaching. His philosophy on teaching is all about assessing every students individual needs and empowering them accordingly. He has also contributed to articles found in Martial Arts Illustrated, Combat and Traditional Karate magazines. The club has also been featured on the BBC, ITV, Radio 5 and has regular spots on Kerrang Radio.

Coaching Experience:
